The Arizona Centennial Commission, through its Arizona Centennial 2012 Foundation, took the leadership role in creating, managing, and implementing several events. In addition, the Commission assumed responsibility for raising funds or creating revenue streams to support each of the Signature Events, including sponsorship opportunities and recognition for privately contributed dollars from individuals, corporations and/or foundations.
